Job Description

An established Irish engineering and manufacturing organisation based in the West of Ireland is seeking a .NET / C# Software Developer to join its growing software team.

This is a permanent role offering the opportunity to work on business-critical systems used across engineering, manufacturing, and operations. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and IT stakeholders to design, build, and maintain reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET / C#

• Work on backend services and business logic supporting operational systems

• Contribute to cloud-based solutions using AWS and/or Azure

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

• Support existing systems and help improve performance and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features

Required Experience & Skills

• 2–3 years’ professional experience as a Software Developer

• Strong experience with .NET / C#

• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure (commercial experience preferred)

• Experience working with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server)

• Understanding of software development best practices

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Desirable (Nice to Have)

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with APIs or service-based architectures
